The Problem

Traditional cast iron skillets are too heavy, making them impractical for day-to-day use. They tend to be tricky to care for and impossible to clean, sometimes rusting after minimal use. Most store-bought skillets are also made overseas and shipped to our shelves, leaving a large environmental footprint in their wake.
