The Problem
We all know single-use plastic is bad for the environment, but the numbers are startling: we produce 300 million tons of plastic worldwide each year, half of which is for single-use items. Single-use plastics are traditionally hard to recycle because they fall into the crevices of recycling machinery and therefore are often not accepted by recycling centers.
