Shishito Peppers with Tahini Dipping Sauce

For Shishito Peppers

  • 1 lb fresh shishito peppers
  • olive oil
  • salt to season

For Tahini Dipping Sauce

  • 1 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • red pepper flakes, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste

In a small mixing bowl, combine tahini, olive oil and soy sauce. Add in red pepper and black pepper to taste and set aside.

In a sauce pan, heat olive oil. Once the pan is hot, add in fresh shishito peppers and cook on high, stirring occasionally until the peppers begin to blacken and blister.

Remove peppers from the heat and transfer onto a serving plate. Enjoy with dipping sauce!
