Sautéed Green Beans & Tofu

A quick and easy week night meal that's packed with sweet & salty flavor. Add in any of your favorite Local Roots veggies or serve over rice if you're feeling fancy.


2 cups Local Roots green beans
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 sweet pepper, sliced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp hoisin
1 tbsp fish sauce
Sesame oil
Seaweed for garnish
Sesame seeds for garnish



1. Cut tofu into cubes. Marinate in mixture of hoisin, soy sauce, fish sauce and a touch of sesame oil. 

2. Sauté tofu in a nonstick pan with oil for 10 minutes. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same pan, cook garlic, green beans and pepper with a splash of soy sauce for 6-7 minutes. Add tofu back in and mix to combine.

4. Plate and garnish with chopped seaweed and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
