April 12, 2023

Ingredients

2 large rutabaga

4 garlic cloves

1 tbsp of olive oil

1 cup of heavy cream

2 tbsp of butter

Handful of sage leaves

2 tbsp of all purpose flour.

Salt

Pepper

Dried thyme

Directions

1. Preheat the oven at 375 degrees.

2. Wash and slice the rutabaga in rounds/slices. Season with salt, pepper, thyme and 2 tbsp of olive oil. Fan out in a round baking dish.

3. Make the sauce: in a sauce pan over medium heat, add heavy cream, sage, butter and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper, then add 2 tbsp flour. Whisk and simmer for 5 minutes.

4. Pour the sauce over the rutabaga dish and bake for 35 minutes. Slice and serve.
