Ingredients
2 large rutabaga
4 garlic cloves
1 tbsp of olive oil
1 cup of heavy cream
2 tbsp of butter
Handful of sage leaves
2 tbsp of all purpose flour.
Salt
Pepper
Dried thyme
Directions
2. Wash and slice the rutabaga in rounds/slices. Season with salt, pepper, thyme and 2 tbsp of olive oil. Fan out in a round baking dish.
3. Make the sauce: in a sauce pan over medium heat, add heavy cream, sage, butter and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper, then add 2 tbsp flour. Whisk and simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Pour the sauce over the rutabaga dish and bake for 35 minutes. Slice and serve.
