Screening Party
Local Roots is making our way from your kitchen to your living room with our big tv premiere! In Hustle, produced by Alicia Keys and Chef Marcus Samuelsson, a young entrepreneur named John Henry meets small busineses and helps them get to the next level. The idea is to identify a pain point and work with the entrepreneur to find resolutions. Watch our founder dive deep into her business as she discovers on air what is needed to grow while staying rooted in passion and values.
The screening will be followed by a short panel with Local Roots founder Wen-Jay Ying and the show's host John Henry (featured in Forbes, Inc, Business Insider, , facilitated by Laena McCarthy founder of Anarchy in a Jar - the OG of artisanal BK food makers.
There will be a social half-hour in the beautiful kitchen space at Kickstarter HQ with tasty Local Roots cheese platters and complimentary beer made by Brooklyn Brew Shop using Local Roots beets. New Local Roots merch will be available to purchase so get ready to look swaggy!
If you select the ticket level that includes a Local Roots bag of vegetables, you've made the right decision and will receive 5 seasonal vegetables. Your bag of goodies will be available to pick up at the event.
Admission to this event automatically gets you 1 raffle ticket but you can always buy more at the door.
Two winners will be selected. TOTALLY AWESOME PRIZE INCLUDES:
