Farm Trip To Wilklow Orchards

Come celebrate the Fall harvest with Local Roots! We're taking you apple picking at Wilklow Orchards. Enjoy apple picking, apple cider, apple cider donuts.. orange you glad we said apples?!

Itinerary Below:

8am - Meet at the bus in Williamsburg at Mountain Province on 9 Meserole St. If you are taking your own form of transportation, please meet us at the farm at 10am.

10 - 12:30am - Get to know Wilklow Orchards!
Enjoy a glass of fresh pressed apple cider + freshly made apple cider donut. Farmer Albert will have an introductory talk where you'll learn the history of Wilklow Orchards and can ask questions about being an orchard farmer!

Pick your own apples for the last harvest day of the year!
We'll have Local Roots bags available for you to take home your apples as you pluck the last remaining apples off the trees for 2018. Ticket cost includes the price of apples.

*quantity of apples is based on seasonality and we can not guarantee a certain amount of apples will be brought home*

12:30-2pm - Lunch + Free Time!
Enjoy a light lunch provided by Local Roots and a complimentary pint of hard cider as we sit on the hill, looking out into the beautiful fields of the orchard. The hard cider comes from the farm's taproom which is housed inside a freight container that overlooks the farm.

Additional food is available for purchase the food truck (soups, chili, quesadillas)

There are also kid-friendly games like a bouncy castle and hay rides onsite at the farm.

4pm We'll be back in NYC!

Based on traffic, we might be a tad bit later than 4.

Tickets will be refunded if we are rained out.
